Lion King Scavenger Hunt Begins At Disney World’s Animal Kingdom This Week

In celebration of the upcoming “Live Action” version of “The Lion King” released in theaters this week, and in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the original animated version of The Lion King, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is introducing a fun scavenger hunt. This scavenger hunt is similar to the ones that are held in Epcot.

Starting today July 19 2019, you can purchase The Lion King scavenger hunt map for $6.99 from the Outpost Shop, Discovery Trading Company, Island Mercantile, or Mombasa Marketplace.

With this particular The Lion King scavenger hunt, Guests will need to look around Harambe Village which is in the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where they will find some of their favorite characters from The Lion King.  Each time you spot one, you’ll need to add the corresponding sticker to your map. Then return the map for a prize at Mombasa Marketplace in Harambe or The Outpost Shop in the Oasis.

Now, the surprises are available until either September 28 or while supplies last and it’s limit one surprise per map.
