Hong Kong Disneyland Is To Close Again Days After Disney World ReOpens

Just a few short days after Walt Disney World opened to the public, Disney has announced that Hong Kong Disneyland will be temporarily closing its gates once again due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. “As required by the government and health authorities in line with prevention efforts taking place across Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland park will temporarily close from July 15,” the Hong Kong Disneyland website states. In the United States, the state of Florida shattered the U.S. record and saw over 15,000 new COVID-19 cases in a single day over the weekend. Still, the Walt Disney World parks is still underway, with Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom already open and EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopening this Wednesday. Fans are wondering if Disney will decide to re-close the gates of the Disney World theme parks, too since the number of COVID-19 cases in Florida keep rising. Hong Kong Disneyland's Arendelle expansion seems to have continued during the temporary park closure, and we're getting closer and closer to it's 2021 opening date! And Thanks to Twitter user HKDL of Fantasy, we caught a glimpse of the upcoming boats for Hong Kong’s clone of the popular Frozen Ever After attraction from EPCOT. Let’s take a look! As HKDL of Fantasy’s picture shows, the boats, similar to those already in use at EPCOT, arrived at the resort today. The ride is reportedly a clone of the EPCOT attraction, already an excellent ride.
