Orange County Mayor Approves Walt Disney World’s Plans For Phased Reopening!
Today, Walt Disney World became the last major central Florida theme park to present and submit its phased reopening plans for approval. Walt Disney World plans to reopen Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as select resorts on July 11th! On July 15, EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reopen. DVC resorts are scheduled to reopen on June 22!
All reopening plans are submitted and require endorsement from the Orange County Mayor before they can be submitted to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for final approval. Mayor Demings has just signed off on the approval letter, addressed to the Governor for final approval:
