Real Life Disney Paint By Number Castle!

How many of you remember as a kid doing one of those fun paint by the number activities?  Even adults love the color by number projects, look at all the diamond paintings, they have become increasingly popular.

Thanks to Orlando’s NBC affiliate WESH 2 News, Walt Disney World fans can see what might qualify as the world’s largest paint-by-number project. During Cinderella Castle’s recent Royal makeover, each brick on the iconic Disney castle was numbered to allow the painting crew to easily paint it.

The image, which WESH news captioned, “How do you paint a Disney castle? Paint by numbers!” features a painter on a crane working on Cinderella Castle’s new paint job, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort next year, as well as this year’s 70th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s Cinderella movie.

This photo of the Cinderella Castle renovation was clearly taken before the Magic Kingdom Annual Passholder Preview, which started yesterday, July 9, ahead of tomorrow’s Walt Disney World Resort phased reopening.

During Yesterday’s Annual Passholder Preview, the castle’s new paint job was nearly finished, allowing park guests to take castle selfies for the first time since Disney World’s temporary closure on March 20.

Featuring a rose gold main color with royal blue turrets and gold accents, Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom is more regal then ever and is truly fit for a princess!
