Disney MaxPass is a paid, digital FASTPASS system at Disneyland Resort which also allows unlimited PhotoPass downloads. Essentially, Disneyland MaxPass lets you skip longer waits for select attractions and enter a line set aside for MaxPass and FASTPASS users. This line is given priority access and you often wait in a much shorter line, with expedited boarding. How is this different from the old FASTPASS system? Disney MaxPass is very similar to the paper FASTPASS we’ve been using for years. MaxPass still allows you to return to select attractions at the Disneyland Resort for your appointed ride time, just like the old FASTPASS. Hong Kong Disneyland Castle Reimagining Named “Castle of Magical Dreams” As part of its multi-year transformation, Hong Kong Disneyland’s iconic castle is being renamed to Castle of Magical Dreams! Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek shared several new updates on the ongoing expansion of Hong Kong Disneyland at D23 Expo 2019, including a spectacular first look at the transformed castle. Castle of Magical Dreams will stand as a shining beacon of courage, hope and possibility, draws inspiration from 13 beloved Disney stories featuring princesses and heroines. The structure will feature adornments like Snow White’s apple, Cinderella’s coach and Belle’s rose as well as original artwork and sculptures. Disney Cruise Line reveals fifth ship and all-new private island Today at the D23 Expo, Disney Cruiseline unveiled it's newest ship and newest destination. The Disney Wish, it will be the newest ship joining the Disney Cruiseline fleet, and "Lighthouse Point of Eleuthera" will be Disney's new private Bahamian Island! At the D23 Expo 2019 today, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek gave us a first glance of the ship’s elegant atrium and revealed the iconic Disney character that will adorn the ship’s stern. Bob Chapek exclaimed “Making wishes come true is at the heart of Disney DNA, Making a Wish is found at the heart of all Disney stories. This beautiful ship will feature, among other innovations and experiences, a “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired atrium and it will feature Rapunzel on the stern painting the name.
