Name Revealed For Epcot's Biggest Nighttime Spectacular Yet! Today was the last day of the D23 Expo 2019 and the day Disney fans had been waiting for, DISNEY PARK NEWS!!!!! There were a ton of Disney Park News, and yes...I'm still trying to catch you all up on it. The presentation was mainly focused on Epcot and there were a lot of Epcot related updates, but this one is extra special. A new Nighttime show has been announced and we even got a sneak peek of the music that is original and brand-new to the show. Photo Credit: Disney Bob Chapek, the head of Parks, Resorts and Experiences, led the panel at the D23 Expo today and announced an all new show called "Harmonious." He told us that this show is the "Largest Nighttime Spectacular is Disney History." He also announced that this new nighttime spectacular will be ready in 2020. Located right in the place were Illuminations: Reflections of Earth used to sit, The World Showcase Lagoon. Bob then, brought out the composer Pinar Toprak who has composed some AMAZING music for this all new nighttime spectacular "Harmonious." Big Avenger's Ride Coming To Disney's California Adventure! All through the D23 Expo this weekend, we had been learning about the New Avengers Campus initiative that's being rolled out in Disney Parks worldwide including California, Hong Kong and Paris. Today, we got confirmation about a brand-new big Avengers attraction coming to Disney's California Adventure as part of their Phase 2. Photo Credit: Disney The Marvel Lands are going to be called Avengers Campus and will be rolled out in two phases in Disney's California Adventure. Phase 1 will include a Spider-Man attraction, a Doctor Strange experience, and a Pym Technology quick service restaurant. Phase one of Avengers Campus opens in 2020. Phase 2 on the other hand includes the aforementioned Avengers ride that we just just got a whole bunch of new information about. In the concept art above you can see this building will house this new Avengers attraction, and you might even spot some Avengers hanging out on the rooftops. In the concept art above, you can see the Quinjet which will be instrumental in the ride later on.
