Is Disneyland a ghost town? Guests are claiming Disneyland Park has become a ghost town after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and that the rest of Disneyland feels “empty." Hong, Associated Press With the opening of the highly anticipated $1 billion, 14 acre immersive Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, where you can pilot a millennium falcon, build lightsabers and drink blue milk, you would not expect Disneyland to be this empty. But, guests of Disneyland Resort still claim it's a "ghost town." This comes as a bit of a surprise, not only because summers at Disneyland are usually busy and crowded, but also because Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge recently opened at the end of May. According to the The Orange County Register , guests have reported a decrease in wait times as well since the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I took these screen shots from my cell phone a few days ago- As you can see, the wait times are ideal and very short, to compare to what they should be.
