Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Official Opening in Disneyland Park

It was bright and sunny during the official opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park. Today, was a historic opening for the largest and most technology advanced single-themed land expansion ever in a Disney park. Many guests became part of the Star Wars story as they visited a galaxy far, far away. Many tasted delectable food and beverage creations, encountered aliens, droids and other inhabitants, discovered an intriguing collection of merchant shops and took controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Mickey and Minnie’s Surpise Party Starts this Week

This summer, Disney is celebrating 90 years of the famous mouse "Mickey," with a party exclusively aboard the Disney Fantasy. This special event, "Mickey and Minnie's Surprise Party At The Sea"starts this week and continues on select Caribbean and Bahamian sailings through the end of August. At this high-energy afternoon deck party complete with music, dancing, games, food and special décor, the guests of honor will be dressed in their festive best and joined by their pals on stage. As you soak up the sun and fun, you’ll enjoy the memorable moment where Mickey is surprised, plus a lively new song created just for the occasion – “It’s a Good Time.” In true party style, you can munch on tasty treats such as Mickey ice cream bars and Mickey-shaped pretzels, cool down with a refreshing nonalcoholic specialty drink served in a commemorative Mickey-shaped cup, or treat yourself to birthday-themed gelato and cupcakes available at Sweet on You. First Trailer for Pixar’s “Onward” imagines elves in a modern fantasy world

Disney/Pixar has released the first trailer to their new motion picture, "Onward." The first teaser trailer was released during the NBA Finals and it's time to see if this world still has some magic left in it. Photo credit: Disney/Pixar Onward, the latest film from Pixar Animation Studios, takes place in a "suburban fantasy world," where elves use cell phones, unicorns are pesky raccoon-like creatures, and wise, magical trees grow in the middle of parking lots, Onward follows two brothers, teenage elves voiced by Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) — who seek out excitement that they’re sure must still exist somewhere. With so many unicorns around, shouldn’t there be at least some kind of magical quest they can embark on? Some kind of heroic adventure?
