When your preparing for a long and exhausting visit to one of the Walt Disney World parks, you cannot skip the most important meal of the day. Walt Disney World has many options that even the pickiest eater can find something to devour on. From charming character meals to spots adored by foodies, there is an option for every one.

Here are just a few of our favorite spots:

Ohana

A fan favorite located in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, featuring their famous family style character breakfast with their infamous orange mango pineapple juice. As you feast on scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, biscuits, and fresh fruit, Lilo, Sitch and Mickey in their festive gear will great eat guests at their table.

1900 Park Fare

This elegant character dining is Just a short monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom Park and located in the Grand Floridian. The buffet features everything from standard breakfast items to customized omlets. In between trips to the various breakfast stations, characters will stop by your table for a visit, those characters can range from Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, Alice and Wonderland and an more and they will be happy and delighted to take pictures with you and your family, even sign your autograph books too.

Chef Mickey’s

Located within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, where you will find an assortment of breakfast foods buffet style. Mickey and friends go around to each table greeting guests wearing their adorable cooking attire.

Boma

Located in the stunning Animal Kingdom lodge, greet your day with a cup of full-bodied Kenyan AA coffee, tropical juice and a bountiful breakfast buffet. Savor vibrant flavors from over 50 African countries—along with favorite American classics. Selections include made-to-order omelets, French toast, African pastries, carved ham, fresh fruit and corn beef bobotie—a type of South African quiche.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Located in EPCOT in the Norway Pavillion, this royal setting features an all you can eat buffet with Disney Princesses such as Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora and Ariel. Reservations can be made before EPCOT’s World Showcase opens, giving you the perfect opportunity to snap perfect pictures with little to no people and a chance to jump on Frozen Ever After attraction right after.

Crystal Palace

Located in the Magic Kingdom Park and Inspired by Victorian greenhouses of the late 1800s, The Crystal Palace brims with light, topiaries and tropical palms—and is an enchanting spot to meet some favorite Winnie the Pooh friends! This highly sought after buffet style whimsical character breakfast, filled with anything from Waffles, to fresh fruits to omelets will have you wanting to go time after time. Don’t forget if you book early before park opening, you can find amazing opportunities to take pictures down Main Street U.S.A. and in front of Cinderella Castle with it practically empty.

A pretty new character breakfast experience, the Bon Voyage breakfast located inside the BoardWalk bistro has been enchanting it’s visitors. Featuring a variety of plated breakfast entrées, which may include:

  • Frittata with roasted red peppers, prosciutto, onions, potatoes and Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Fluffy buttermilk pancakes with bacon or sausage
  • Breakfast calzone with scrambled eggs, cured meat and a blend of cheeses stuffed in an oven-baked dough and served with Sunday gravy

Familiar faces from popular animated tales such as Tangled and The Little Mermaid will be drifting through the restaurant and stopping by your table to meet you while you dine on delicious morning staples. You may encounter such Characters as: Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel & Flynn Rider

Trail’s End


Nestled on 750 wooded acres inhabited by enchanting wildlife, Trail’s End Restaurant is one dining destination you’ll want to allow plenty of time to reach. Getting there is a trailblazing adventure unto itself! Located in the middle of the scenic Fort Wilderness campround is renowned for it’s high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. For breakfast, you will want to make sure that your plate is loaded up with servings of Mickey waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and more vittles than you can shake a stick at.

Whispering Canyon Café

Tether your trusty steed and mosey into this log-cabin lodge with rough-hewn charm and colorfully named Cast Members who have a reputation for sassing customers. Take your seat in a cowboy or Indian chair and get into some finger-lickin’ vittles. Enjoy shenanigans as you chow down on all you care to eat biscuits and gravy, sausage, and homemade flapjacks.  There’s plenty to go around! Just be careful what you wish for, especially if it’s ketchup. Be careful, you may even end up in Whispering Canyon Jail!

 Cinderella’s Royal Table

Located inside Magic Kingdom’s Iconic Cinderella Castle, there is just nothing more magical than that. After Cinderella personally greets you in the lobby, guest are escorted up the stairs to a dining hall filled with beautiful stained glass windows overlooking Fantasyland. While you eat family-style breakfast platters from American favorites like stuffed French toast, steak and eggs, baked quiche and pastries—all while sipping on your choice of juice, milk, coffee or tea, Cinderella’s royal friends will visit each table. You will be just a short walk away from the highly sought after Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight, so take advantage of early reservations to catch these.
