Disneyland Paris To Hold Character Auditions For Halloween And Christmas Season

Disneyland Paris has listed character auditions for the upcoming Halloween and Christmas Seasons. The following listings have been posted on the Disneyland Paris Careers site: The park’s Entertainment Casting department listed they are looking for “enthusiastic and highly energetic people to join our character department for Halloween and Christmas seasons”, with auditions taking place starting on June 27 through July 2 across various cities in France. No official reopening date has been announced for Disneyland Paris, but stay tuned to Daily Disney News be among the first to discover when Disneyland Paris theme parks and resorts will reopen. Josh D’Amaro’s Thoughtful Message On Reopening Of Disney Parks Worldwide

Josh D'Amaro who was recently named Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products issued a thoughtful message on the reopening of Disney Parks Worldwide, reassuring guests that the MAGIC is indeed returning. You can read his full letter below: With the announcement of the proposed reopening dates for the Disneyland Resort, we are one more exciting step closer to reopening all of our Disney parks and experiences around the world. Throughout the past few weeks, we have reopened Shanghai Disneyland, Disney Springs and several Disney stores, and set dates for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts, with more announcements coming soon. We are purposefully taking baby steps during this very intentional phased approach. As one of the first major theme parks to close our operations and the last to reopen, we have been deliberate about keeping the health and safety of our cast, guests and local communities top of mind. And as we look forward to bringing our cast members back to work, and welcoming you back as cherished guests – we know it will take all of us working together responsibly to recapture the magic. Hong Kong Disneyland To Reopen Soon!

Hong Kong Disneyland has confirmed that it will reopening shortly, along with another prominent Hong Kong theme park: Ocean Park, after much speculation on which Disney theme park will follow the footsteps of Shanghai Disneyland. The confirmation of the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland follows the reports from last month that the Disney Park was testing a soft reopening for cast members only, hinting that Hong Kong Disneyland would be soon following Shanghai Disneyland in finally reopening to the public. So, When is Hong Kong Disneyland reopening? Hong Kong Disneyland has not released an exact date, however, Ocean Park is opening this Saturday June 13th and both Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park are owned by the government, suggesting that Hong Kong Disneyland won't be far behind that opening. Just before the COVID-19 Pandemic, Ocean Park was almost in bankruptcy. Leo Kung Lin-cheng, Chairman of Park's Board of Directors had the following to say about the reopening of the Disneyland Resort as well as Ocean Park: ‘We want to reboot the economy in the second half of this year through new initiatives in tourism, external trade and trade insurance services … We are confident we will ride out the economic doldrums.’ Hong Kong Disneyland also lost about $13.5 million in September 2019, before the Covid -19 pandemic which resulted in it's closure.
