Disney+ Will Launch In Japan On June 11th

Disney+ has announced that they will launch in Japan on June 11th! We are so excited to see Disney+ once again expanding. During one of the most recent earning calls the streaming services is reported to already be a hit, with over 50 million subscribers in the first five months! With how big the Disney is in Japan, I can see how successful this will be now that even more people can experience shows like The Mandalorian, The Imagineering Story, High School Musical: The Series and many, many more original programming and classic Disney films. The Disney+ service will launch on June 11th for ¥700, or about $6.49 per month plus tax. Disney Store To Reopen At Tokyo Disney Resort’s Ikspiari June 2nd

The Disney Store at Tokyo Disney Resort's Ikspiari will re-open June 2nd, just a day after the rest of the complex opens. This announcement came through Ikspiari's official website. Ikspiari, is the shopping center at Tokyo Disney Resort similar to Disney Springs or Downtown Disney and is reopening on June 1st! The hours of the Disney Store at Ikspiari since it's closure on February 29, will match the rest of the shopping center, opening of 11am and closing at 7pm. These are the entry restrictions at Ikspiari: Not all businesses will be open. Businesses that are open will be restricted to 11AM-7PM. Temperatures will be checked upon entry. Anyone with a temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius will not be admitted. Entry may be restricted during high-traffic hours. Only the following entrances will be open: First Floor – Clock Tower Plaza, The Courtyard Second Floor – Maihama Station Cinema Ikspiari’s ticket booth will operate from 11AM-6:30PM. No late-night shows will be offered. The Tokyo Disney Resort Ticket Center will remain closed for the time being. It’s exciting to see operations slowly beginning to resume at Tokyo Disney Resort. Tickets to Shanghai Disneyland Reopening Sell Out In Minutes

Shanghai Disneyland is reopening on Monday, May 11 after the park has been closed for over 100 days! Guests were so excited, in fact, so excited that park tickets to Shanghai Disneyland completely sold out for its reopening date within a matter of minutes! Shanghai Disney Resort website confirmed the sell-out of tickets within minutes of bookings becoming available at 8 a.m. Friday local time according to Time. Shanghai Disney Resorts announced plans prior to reopening that it will implement a list of safety measures, including only allowing one-third of the park’s typical capacity through its gates. Shanghai Disneyland’s normal capacity is over 80,000, however, following social distancing measures, the Chinese Government has requested Disney keep attendance down to 24,000 guests a day. Though, Disney executives have stated they are going to open up far below that with gradually open up to 24,000 a day. Additionally, employees will undergo health and safety training, be encouraged to take part in contactless interactions with visitors and will be provided masks and additional equipment. The park will also be temporarily suspending parades and nighttime spectaculars and close interactions and close-up photos with costumed characters.
