Changes For Rise Of The Resistance Attraction At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has been open for nearly two months at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios and some changes have now been made. Boarding groups are absolutely necessary for riding the attraction as of this time, and the return time has been changed so you need to be aware.

Over the weekend, some guests have received Boarding Group return times with a one-hour window. While it had been a two-hour window since the opening attraction, some guests over the weekend had been receiving return times with a one-hour window. We advise you when you are securing your Boarding Group for Rise of the Resistance on your My Disney Experience account, to check and see if your return window is for one hour or two hours.

Due to the attraction being so popular,  Boarding Groups are filling up in less than 30 minutes each day. Disney is trying to give as many guests a chance to experience Rise of the Resistance each day.

We are not sure how long this change will go into effect, if it was just a weekend thing or if this is a new way of doing things to give more guests opportunities at the new Star Wars Land attraction.
