Cinderella Castle Receiving Bold, Shimmering & Royal Makeover In Walt Disney World This Year

This year marks the 70th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s animated classic Cinderella. Ever since it was released, the story of her courage and kindness have been inspiring guests and cast members alike. We are excited to announce that Cinderella’s Castle In Walt Disney World will be receiving a bold, shimmering and royal makeover inspired by her namesake.

The work is set to begin on Cinderella Castle in the coming weeks and continue throughout the summer.  The concept art released by Disney shows some incredible new looks for the icon of the Magic Kingdom including gold accents and royal blue turrets. But don’t worry! You will still get to catch all of your castle favorites like “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” and “Happily Ever After.”

As of this time, there have been no changes to entertainment schedules.
