D23 Has confirmed all new live-action movies and series coming to Disney+

As we all know Disney+ is supposed to be launching on November 12, but what we didn’t know was all the new exciting movies and TV series coming to Disney+.

The Disney+ panel at this year’s D23 Expo provided us with a wealthy insight into the new live-action movies, which are scheduled for the release of Disney+. Disney fans can expect to find this new content ranging from animated to documentary series released exclusively for the new streaming platform, not only these amazing series but also the highly anticipated live-action films.

Here is a sneak peak of what Disney+ has coming soon.

“Diary of a Female President”

“Diary of a Female President” will be narrated by the U.S. president as told from her diary as she grows from a middle school student who has big dreams to adulthood where she holds the highest office in the United States. Gina Rodriguez, the executive producer and series writer, along with Llana Pena, creator, are thrilled to bring a new diverse cast and upbeat comedic energy to the show’s 10-episode stint on the all new Disney+ streaming.

“Noelle”

“Noelle” follows the story of the formal character who happens to be Santa’s daughter as she takes over the “family business”. This full-length comedy features a highly anticipated cast with the wonderful Anna Kendrick (Trolls and Pitch Perfect) as Noelle starring opposite Bill Hader. Addition stars involved in the film include Billy Eichner, Shirley Maclaine, and Julie Hagerty.

“Muppets Now”

The new “Muppets Now” is a short-film unscripted series exclusive to Disney+. While few details have been released this far, the series will be reminiscent of the original Muppets series and will feature a different celebrity guest in every episode. It is said to be coming to Disney+ in 2020.

“Togo: The Untold True Story”

“Togo: The Untold True Story” follows the true story of Leonhard Seppala, a sled driver in the 1923 Nome Serum Run and his sled dog Togo. The story will be full of heart, adventure, and will offer a touching glimpse into an unlikely friendship. “Togo: The Untold True Story” will be a tale for the ages staring Willem Dafoe.

“Lady and the Tramp”

This Live action remake of the original 1955 animated feature film was confirmed at the D23. This will be heavily inspired by the original, however it will not be a frame for frame remake. In this live-action version, there will be a greater sense of dogs having their own adventures. The film will feature a cast of dogs who are all rescues, and the adoption stories actually continued onset as fans of D23 learned that Yvette Nicole Brown had adopted one of Rose’s doubles.
