This Month at Disneyland Resort, Super Hero fans will be in for a treat. August 31, marks the 80th year of Super Hero Magic and Disney’s California Adventure Park has come up with 8 amazing ways to celebrate the 80th anniversary. This includes special curated commemorative food and merchandise, as well as entertainment and experiences. So Super Hero fans of all ages, come in and join the fun at Disney’s California Adventure as they honor 80 Years of Super Hero Magic!

Disneyland’s 8 special action-packed ways to celebrate with the Super Hero’s includes these amazing activities:

• 1. Join Rocket on a mission- hop aboard the Collector’s gantry lift on Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. In this fun action-packed adventure you will help rescue Rocket’s fellow team mates all while jamming out the Star-Lords exclusive classic mixtapes. It’ll drop kick you out of this universe maybe even into the next galaxy.AP Bonus: Annual Passholders can enjoy an extra hour at Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, after park closing time. • 2. Power-up your plate- Is all that heroism making you hungry? Starting on August 9 the September 2, be on the lookout for some of your favorite Disney Characters cosplaying as Super Hero’s. Be sure to support your favorite Super Hero.
• 6. Put your fearless “Face” Forward- Stop by one of the face painting stations for a courageous new make-over. There is a variety of different fierce designs for all ages. Will you go the extra mile? How ’bout going “Power Green” for the Hulk or “Spidey Red” to bring out the Spider-Man in you?
• 7. Strike an epic pose- Step into an “Avenger Assemble!” comic book and flex those amazing smiles. In this oversized photo backdrop you’ll be one of the Super Hero’s! this Epic Epic photo location will be available August 9 through September 2.
• 8. Activate your inner artist- You can receive step-by-step instructions from a Disney artist on how to draw these amazing Super Hero’s. Drawing classes will take place at Animation Academy during selected times during August 10, 17, 24, 30, 31 and September 1.
