Pride Rock Has come to McDonld’s

McDonald’s happy meals have just got the new Lion King toys.

With the new live-action Lion King movie coming out just around the corner, McDonald’s happy meals have become a bit more magical. Does this mean the happy meals have changed? Why, yes it does. McDonald’s happy meals have embraced the wild side in honor of the newly produced live action Lion King movie.

The happy meal boxes from McDonald’s have changed to a beautiful picture of baby Simba, but that’s not particularly where the magic is truly at, the magic begins within the box. Every happy meal now contains a new Lion King toy.

Not only does the McDonald’s happy meals contain a newly themed Lion king box but it also contains a Lion King themed milk jug, apple slices, and even the Go-Gurt. Yes this means the whole happy meal is decked out in a “Lion King” theme.

These toys will only be at McDonald’s for a limited- time. McDonald’s happy meals can be enjoyed with one of these ten themed Lion King toys, which includes, Mufasa and Sarabi, baby Simba and baby Nala, Timon and Pumbaa, Zazu and Rafiki, and of course Adult Simba and Adult Nala. Above we can see Nala, Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa.

The Live action remake of the Lion King is very important to Disney and because of this McDonald’s has stepped up a level with not only the new Lion King theme but with a way to win a trip to Walt Disney World. Yes you read it right, inside the McDonald’s happy meal is a chance for a family of four to win a trip to Walt Disney world.

Now the giveaway will only go from July 16th to August 19th, customers can scan the code which can be found within the happy meal toy bag. These tickets can be scanned through the McDonald’s app or at MagicAtMCD.com. On the Ticket it states “7 families will win this grand prize trip to Disney, while 250 will win a $25 gift card to the Disney store. The trip includes admission to all four Disney theme parks- Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios- as well as airfare and lodging for four people.‘
