“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” Rey Spoiler
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” Rey Spoiler
**Warning*** Major spoiler alert, read with Caution****
So many of us Star Wars fans are anxiously awaiting to see ” Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” and at the D23 Expo last weekend, Disney dropped the latest sneak peak at the upcoming film which left guests wondering about status of Rey.
Star Wars fans from around the world were completely blown away by the sight of what looked like a “Dark Rey” at the end of the newest trailer for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” At the End of the clip, we see Rey holding a two bladed red lightsaber, and wearing what appears to be Sith Robes, looking confounded. Some fans of the Star Wars franchise were excited to see Rey turn possibly to the dark side, while others were completely mystified and upset at the idea of the trilogy’s hero becoming a villain.
But, don’t worry it’s not Rey, it’s a vision. According to a post written on Disney’s www.StarWars.com , website they shared the trailer dropped at the D23 Expo 2019 and they also referred to Dark Rey as a vision (click Dark Rey link and it will bring you to post, then scroll down to #5). If your a true Star Wars fan then you know these “Visions” in the “Star Wars” franchise rarely end up coming true.

Unfortunately, they have since corrected the website and revised the portion of the post that originally described it as a vision of Rey, now it states: ” Rey appears to toss a fully-ignited lightsaber, and of course the sight of Rey with a reticulated red blade, was nothing short of thrilling. “
It was a toss up, there were a lot of fans who believed Rey turned to the dark side and many who suspected it as a vision. Reddit users discovered Disney made a mistake and on their StarWars.com website by describing “Rey” at the end of the trailer to “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” as a “vision” giving away a major spoiler.
Again, Disney has corrected the post on StarWars.com website but it was there. I took the screenshot myself. I guess we will have to wait and see how “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker” Turns out.
