Disney Releases TRON Construction Update at Magic Kingdom Including Video

For those of you keeping up to date with all the attractions coming to Walt Disney World, then you will be excited to here Disney has released updates on the all-new TRON coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom including video. Photo credit: Disney The roller coaster is based on the TRON Lightcycle Power Run which is in Shanghai Disneyland, an ever since it opened at Shanghai Disneyland a few years back, it has been the most sought-after attraction for Disney fans overseas! After Disney announced that a similar attraction would be coming to Magic Kingdom, many of you could hardly wait to know more. As Disney has explained, "the coaster-style attraction will allow riders to board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles for a thrilling race through the digital frontier." If you’ve been to Magic Kingdom lately, you may have noticed the work being done over in the back of Tomorrowland near Space Mountain. Now, the first steel support columns have been installed and they will serve as the framework of the roller coaster being built. Designer Mickey Ears & Headbands Coming Soon Later This Month To Disney Parks & shopDisney

Disney has released details of a new designer collection Mickey Mouse ear hats and Minnie Mouse ear headbands coming soon to shop Disney and Disney Parks later this month. These new all new Mickey ear hats and Minnie headbands will be designed by artists, celebrities, and Disney artists. Those designing them will take in different aspects of the Disney Parks, some characters, and their own unique style to bring them to the guests. Pictured above, you will see the COACH ear headband, but it won’t be the first one to come forth. On May 24, 2019, the HARVEY s-style Minnie ear headbands will land in parks and on ShopDisney, but there are many more to come. Here is a schedule of custom designed Mickey Mouse ear hats and Minnie Mouse ear headbands coming, but don’t be surprised if you see additional names jump in the list. The 9/11 Aftermath & The Closing of the Disney Parks-#NeverForget

Disneyland has only experienced three unexpected closures in it's history since park opening, they include: the national day of mourning after JFK was killed, the Northridge Earthquake in 1994, and after the terrorist attacks had happened on the United States on 9/11. On September 11th, 2001 Disney Parks announced it would be closing the parks for the first time since 1994. Due to the time difference, guests had already started filling the parks at Walt Disney World but on the West Coast Disneyland simply did not open that day. After the horrific terrorist attack that shook our nation, the Walt Disney Company announced the park closures immediately. Interviews with cast members and guests at Walt Disney World tell a grim tale of what happened that day. One of the cast members describes that day and the instructions they received for closing Walt Disney World to well-known entertainment writer, Jim Hill, at the Huffington Post: We were told not to tell the guests what had happened unless they asked us. I remember one guest asking me and — after I told them — they just stood there blank faced and didn’t move for a bit.
