Disneyland Releases First Look at Guidemap with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland park on May 31, it will be the largest and most technologically advanced single-themed land expansion ever in a Disney park! You will feel like your stepping right into a remote planet full of unique sights, sounds, smells, tastes and other immersive experiences. To help you “map” out your visit, here is a first look at the Disneyland park guidemap! As you can see, there are three entrances into the new 14-acre land. Once inside, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be filled with plenty of stories to explore as you live your own adventure—from an authentic Star Wars cantina on the Outer Rim of the galaxy to exotic creatures, a Resistance encampment and daring missions aboard the Millennium Falcon! You can now also navigate Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on your mobile phone or desktop! Know Before You Go-Disneyland Resort Galaxy’s Edge Parking

Many guests are excited for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort. This brand-new, 14 acre land land is the biggest single-land expansion at a Disney Park, it is huge! If you are planning to visit during the first few weeks of the land’s opening, we have some important arrival information to share with you, including parking and theme park entry. Good news: since Disney has a reservation system in place, there is no need to arrive super early and line up! Disney has a new parking structure, Pixar Pals, opening soon. Until then, Mickey & Friends and Toy Story will be the two primary guest parking lots. As you arrive, you will be directed to the appropriate lot, and you can always check @DisneylandToday for parking updates. Disney releases how they’re enforcing 4 hour limit in Galaxy Edge

The opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Resort is quickly approaching and Disney has revealed that they will cycle through each guest in their 4 hour window of their designated reservation by colored wristbands. Photo Credit: Disney As many of you fans know, the opening reservation period was last week, and many logged on to their computers in hopes of securing a time slot in the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge during this "soft opening" period and today, we have details of how this experience will play out for the lucky ones who were able to secure themselves a time slot. The OC Register reported that Disneyland will issue colored wristbands to visitors during the reservation only period for each of the four hour windows. As you can probably imagine, newly admitted Galaxy's Edge visitors will mix in with those already in the land. With these colored wrist bands, cast members will easily be able to track who can and cannot remain in the land past certain times of the day. According to OC Register's report, it’s believed that after each four-hour window ends, Disneyland employees may turn away visitors with expired wristbands attempting to enter the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Oga’s Cantina, Docking Bay 7 and some of the other out of this world experiences found in…
