Walt Disney Company Reaches Deal With Comcast in Hulu Streaming Service

The Walt Disney Company will debut it's own streaming company, later this year called Disney+. This new Disney Streaming will have an enormous library. Now, there is even more streaming news regarding the Walt Disney Company as they have come to a deal with Comcast to acquire full operational control of Hulu. Comcast has agreed to sell its stake in Hulu to The Walt Disney Company in five years. They had the option of selling it at a value of $27.5 billion or whatever Hulu is appraised to be worth in five years. Disney has guaranteed Comcast a sale price that represents a minimum total equity value of that $27.5 billion. In the details of the deal, Disney will pay Comcast for its Hulu content for the next five years. NBC is going to be able to run its same content on its own streaming platform which will launch sometime later this year. On Hulu, the NBC channels will be available at a higher rate than was previously agreed upon. Hulu bought back a 9.5% stake from AT&T last month in a deal that valued the company at $15 billion. Disney and Comcast had agreed to fund that purchase in accordance with their two thirds to one-third ownership. Disney has revealed list of upcoming Disney, Pixar & Marvel Films Through 2023

The Walt Disney Company, has revealed that there are currently twenty-two Walt Disney Studio Films to be released up until 2023, starting with "Aladdin" on May 24. Included in this list are a bunch of Pixar and Marvel Films! According to this new calendar released by Disney, there are currently six films coming from Pixar Animation Studios. The Six films begin with "Toy Story 4" in June 2019 and continue with "Onward" in March 2020, with four other films releasing through June of 2022. The four other films on the calendar are currently unnamed. As many of you might have wondered what is next after "Avengers: Endgame," the big plans start with "Spider-Man: Far From Home." set to hit theaters June 2. After this web-slinging film, the company has eight films slated from 2020 to 2022, just in time for Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4.
